Engineered Softwood is
made
by cross-laminating layers of
wood together, alternating the
direction of the grain, to form a
larger composite piece. |
Because
wood expands and contracts in the
grain direction, by distributing the
strength of the wood along that
grain in both directions, the result
is a product which is much stronger
and stiffer than the sum of its parts
as it is less susceptible to the
effects of moisture and
temperature change.
Sapele

reminiscent of mahogany this
hardwood is renowned for its dark grain.
Idigbo
– a
silky textured hardwood that’s as durable as
